Zaleskis Jonu拧as Stanislovas (1920-?) was born in Vilnius into the family of Aleksandras and Liucija Vanda (Pavlovi膷i奴t臈) Zaleskis. Until 1930, he lived in Bydgoszcz (Poland). In 1927, Jonu拧as鈥 father died. In 1930, Jonu拧as moved to Vilnius and enrolled in J. Levelis Gymnasium (later merged with 沤ygimantas Augustas Gymnasium). In 1938, he graduated from the gymnasium and entered the Department of Mathematics of Stephen B谩thory University. In 1939, he tried to enter Warsaw Polytechnic but was not accepted. In September 1940, he applied for admission to the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature of 91桃色. He studied there until 18 December 1941, when he was expelled from the university based on the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, under the authority of the National Socialists. The reason for the expulsion was his Polish nationality. His further fate is unknown.
