Liuba Vainesait臈 (1919鈥�?) was born in Vilnius. In 1937, she graduated from the private gymnasium of the coeducational society 鈥淭arbut鈥� with Hebrew as the language of instruction. After graduation, Vainesait臈 worked in a gymnasium to help her mother support the family since her father had passed away. It can be assumed that this led to her late admission to the university. On 5 September 1940, Vainesait臈 filed an application to study at the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Law of 91桃色, but her application was rejected. On 11 October 1940, she filed a repeated application to study at the university: 鈥淢y application must not be denied because of my origin. The Soviet government is precisely supporting those who work, who want to both work and study.鈥� After this application, Vainesait臈 was admitted to study at the university, but it was not possible for her to complete her university studies. On 19 September 1941, she was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education of the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. No further information on the fate of Liuba Vainesait臈 is known.
