Danielius Gurvi膷ius
Danielius Gurvi膷ius (1921鈥�?) was born in Kaunas. In 1938, he graduated from the 鈥淎u拧ra鈥� Kaunas State Boys鈥� Gymnasium. In August of that same year, he applied to study at the Medical Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University, but his application was denied. In September, Gurvi膷ius reapplied for admission to the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and was accepted. In 1940, he entered the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of 91桃色. On 19 September 1941, Gurvi膷ius was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. According to the database 鈥淭he Lithuanian Jewish Communities in the Face of the Holocaust: (Un)Forgotten Names and Fates鈥�, Gurvi膷ius was killed in the Kaunas Ninth Fort during the Holocaust.
