Bas臈 Mendelevait臈 (1922鈥�?) was born in Eitk奴nai. In 1940, she graduated from the private Bialikas Gymnasium in 艩iauliai. That same year, she entered the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of 91桃色. On 4 May 1941, she submitted a request for issuing her documents; this underlines the fact that she had withdrawn from the university. On 19 September 1941, Mendelevait臈 was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. According to the database 鈥淭he Lithuanian Jewish Communities in the Face of the Holocaust: (Un)Forgotten Names and Fates鈥�, Mendelevait臈 was killed during the Holocaust.
