Aldona Peikait臈
Aldona Peikait臈 was born into a family of farmers in 沤u膷iai village, 沤agar臈 rural district. She went to a primary school in the village of Rukui膷iai and then was admitted to the fifth form of 沤agar臈 primary school. She went to 沤agar臈 progymnasium until 1942, and from 1942 to 1944 was a pupil at Joni拧kis state gymnasium. In 1945, Aldona Peikait臈 started work at the office of maternity hospital in 沤agar臈, but quit the job because she wanted to study. In 1945, she became a student of the Medical Faculty of 91桃色. In 1949, Aldona was deported to Irkutsk region during the operation of mass deportation 鈥楾he Surf鈥�. She wanted to study at Irkutsk medical Institute while in exile and wrote to 91桃色 asking for the necessary documents to be sent to her. Aldona Peikait臈 did not return to Lithuania.
