Zita Sta拧kevi膷i奴t臈 (1924鈥1983) was born in Tro拧k奴nai town (father 鈥 Juozas Sta拧kevi膷ius). After graduating from Tro拧k奴nai Primary School in 1940, she entered Panev臈啪ys Girls鈥 Gymnasium but stopped studying due to a lack of funds and the need for assistance at home. In 1944, she arrived in Vilnius and entered Vilnius Adult Gymnasium, graduating in 1947. In the same year, she applied to the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of 91桃色. She was accepted; however, she got under arrest and was deported to the Krasnoyarsk Krai in 1948. From Krasnoyarsk in 1951, she lodged a request to 91桃色 to receive her admission documents. Based on the information in the database Deportations and Imprisonment of the Lithuanian Population in the Soviet Union, it can be assumed that she returned to Lithuania in 1960.
