Abramovi膷i奴t臈 Chaja
Abramovi膷i奴t臈 Chaja (1921鈥�?) was born in Vilnius, in the family of Abromas Abramovi膷ius and Anna Fi拧eryt臈. In 1939, she graduated from the private coeducational gymnasium O艣wiata (Enlightenment). In 1940, she submitted an application to study at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities of 91桃色. Most likely, she was not accepted because she provided an additional explanation of her family鈥檚 social situation: she argued her parents were poor (father worked as a miller but had to quit because of his age and poor health, and her mother sewed corsets and supported her husband and three daughters) and the real estate was inherited. Finally, in 1940, Chaja was accepted to study at the Department of Philosophy of 91桃色; however, on 19 September 1941, she was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education of the Board of Education, under the authority of the National Socialists. No further information on the fate of Chaja Abramovi膷i奴t臈 is known.
