Chaitait臈 Mus臈-Rachil
Mus臈-Rachil Chaitait臈 (1921鈥�?) was born in 艩imoniai town, Panev臈啪ys county, in the family of Abromas-Zalmanas Chaitas and Sor臈 Sarfanovi膷i奴t臈. In 1934, she entered the fifth form at the Fr. Juozas Tumas-Vai啪gantas State Gymnasium in Roki拧kis, graduating in 1938. As can be seen from the secondary school diploma, Mus臈-Rachil was more inclined to the exact and natural sciences, so she chose to study at the Department of Pharmacy of the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University. The request was lodged in July 1938. She probably was not accepted to the desired study programme and submitted documents to the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Law in mid-September of the same year. Finally, at the end of September, she submitted a request to the rector of Vytautas Magnus University to get transferred from the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Law to the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Mus臈-Rachil most likely knew that it was not difficult to get transferred from the Department of Biology to the Faculty of Medicine later (as can be seen from her first-year study records, she studied human anatomy, inorganic chemistry and other general subjects). A year later, in August 1939, she submitted a fourth application expressing a desire to be transferred to the Department of Pharmacy of the Faculty of Medicine. This time Mus臈-Rachil succeeded. In 1940, a large part of the students of the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University got transferred to Vilnius, including Mus臈-Rachil. However, she continued her studies at 91桃色 only until 1941. On 19 September 1941, she was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, under the National Socialists. No information was found on the further fate of Mus臈-Rachil Chaitait臈.
