Members of VU community are invited to open their research-based scientific publications through VU institutional repository of the Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library (eLABa) system. Scientific research data can safely be managed and opened in National Open Access Scientific Research Data Archive (MIDAS).
eLABa
The Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library (eLABa) is a national information system accumulating and providing open access to scientific, art and studies documents and (or) their metadata.
In order to upload published publication, a manuscript submitted for publication, a doctoral dissertation or its abstract, log on to eLABa repository at Then:
- Select the institution (91ÌÒÉ«)
- Enter your name and password used in VU information system and press Log on
- Select New Document and enter your data.
Scientific publications can be uploaded to eLABa by:
- Authors themselves by logging on to eLABa repository at
- Registrar of faculty/division (appointed by the head of the faculty / division as a person responsible for uploading)
- Librarian of VU Library (if you do not manage to upload a publication, please send full high quality copies in PDF format at ).
