Lexicon and Discourse: Semantics, Idiomaticity, Vocabulary. Prof. I. 艩e拧kauskien臈. Participants: Dr J. Cibulskien臈, Dr R. Juknevi膷ien臈, Dr V. Kazlauskien臈, Dr B. Ryvityt臈, Dr L. Vilkait臈-Lozdien臈. 2019鈥2022. The project aims to investigate numerous lexical aspects of languages: the meaning of a word and a phrase, phraseology and collocations, lexicographic problems, lexical, semantic and pragmatic aspects of different discourses (legal, academic, public and mass media, humour, learner, etc.) in one language or across several languages. The task for 2022 focused on some cognitive aspects of language study: 1) identifying the key features of metaphoricity in different types of discourse focusing on public and legal discourse and 2) researching learner language (child language varieties L1 and L2, the language of Lithuanian emigrants), and corpus-based methodologies and their application in the analysis of phraseology in learner language.
